Stevie Hammell has set his sights on being called up to the full Scotland squad.  Stevie only made his under-21 debut as a second half substitute against Poland on Tuesday, but speaking at yesterday's press conference he said:
"When I played for the first time in a couple of pre-season friendlies last year I had no thoughts about the Scotland set-up.  My main concern was getting into the Motherwell team, anything else would be a bonus.  I managed a couple of games for the Scotland under-19s and could have qualified again this season but got the chance to step up to the under-21 squad. Hopefully I will get the chance to keep progressing.  A few more youngsters have come into the first team and perhaps by watching me will be thinking Žif he can do it, so can IŽ.  It means I cannot take my foot off the pedal as there is going to be someone ready to take my place."

Benito Kemble has been given four games by Billy Davies to win himself a new deal.  Speaking yesterday, BD said:
"Beni is one of those players in the 30-plus bracket. We haven't offered him anything yet as I think it's been more important to tie up the younger players.  I will see how his recovery is coming on in our next few games before offering him anything."

Teletext is reporting that Martin Wood and Jon Connolly may feature in the side at Tannadice tomorrow.  BD says that both players have impressed him in training:
"Martin and Jon have been looking good in training and in reserve games and deserve to get a taste of first team action between now and the end of the season."
