Today's Evening Times reports that both Stevie Woods and Benito Kemble will be offered new contracts to stay at the club. Kemble is attracting interest from clubs back in his homeland and BD is keen to retain his services.
There have been a number of rumours circulating recently (some of them started by this web page!) that the club are set to introduce a new badge and strip next season. However, we can reveal that Motherwell are in fact currently in negotiations to register a coat of arms for the club, and it will NOT be launched next season but sometime in the future. Also, a new third strip will be launched in the close season and the present home and away strips will run for a second season. The design of the new strip is currently with the SFA and SPL for approval.
Not surprisingly, Motherwell beat Dalziel High School FPs in this morning's game to commemorate the opening of the new stadium at Dalziel Park. The final score was 4-0 to Motherwell, with McFadden, Adams and Chibba (2) the scorers.
