7.25pm One of this morning's papers reports that Shaun Fagan has been offered and has signed a new two-year contact, tying him to Motherwell until 2007. Hmm... Young David Keogh has signed a one-year extension to his existing contract, but Phil O'Donnell and Gordon Marshall have yet to sign the one-year deals offered to them. Alex Burns (remember him?) is to be given a free transfer. Meanwhile, Barry John Corr says he will leave the club
unless he is guaranteed first-team football next season. The former Celtic
goalkeeper is quoted as saying: "Getting a few games is good, and hopefully I can get a wee run in the team now. I know I've got to do well when I get the opportunity to play and that brings added pressure. To be fair, Gordon has done really well since he came here and it has been difficult for me to get in. Over that period, he has been a great help and has encouraged me, even though I've been trying to take his place."
