Newspaper reports suggest that Billy Davies is ready to talk terms with recent trialist Lee Makel.  The 28-year-old former Hearts midfielder has been training at Fir Park for over a week and scored the winner for the Under-21s on Monday night.  Billy Davies said:
"I want to get hold of Lee's agent and sit down and discuss one or two things.  There is no doubting his ability, but we need to see whether he can fit in to our pattern."

It is reported that former 'Well defender Steve Mungall is being lined up to replace Davie McParland as Youth Development Manager.  Mungall left Fir Park in 1979 and spent the rest of his career with Tranmere Rovers.  He quit his post as Centre of Excellence director at Prenton Park last October and has been out of the game since.
