Meanwhile, 'Well goalkeeper Mark Brown said:
"It was nice to keep a clean sheet. It's the second one I've had
at home and especially after losing four goals last week, it was important for
the defence to try to get a clean sheet just to give us a bit of
confidence. I was happy with my own performance and I thought the team
played well, we had chances to win and we maybe just need a bit more work at the
goal. We hit the post when, at other times, it would have gone in - but I
think it was an exciting match for us. Consistency is the thing that we'll
need most for the season - away from home we've struggled and lost nine goals,
which is really shocking.
"It's a new defence and it's taken us time to gel together. But I think we're starting to gel and we know what other players can do and we're starting to improve as a team. I don't know about pressure, but we're anxious to get our first win to try and move us up the league a bit because one win could move you four or five places up the league. So it's important that we try to get a win early on in the next few games because in this league you can't waste time."
