Speaking after yesterday's goalless draw with Livingston, BD admitted he was starting to feel the pressure:
"I felt Livingston started the game well and probably finished the stronger side but I think if we had taken one of our earlier chances we would have settled down and won the game.  We've made a lot of changes in the first five games and maybe need to bring one or two more players in.  There's a bit of anxiety about the way the players are playing as we try to get the first three points but we just have to keep working away."

"Stephen Pearson has been out for six or seven weeks but I thought he was fantastic for us today.  We had a few boys under 20 out there and it's great for them to get the experience and it was very much a tactical move to bring Pearson on, although I got a bit of stick for that.  But I felt that his mobility and energy could cause a few problems and he also gave us better shape."

Meanwhile, 'Well goalkeeper Mark Brown said:
"It was nice to keep a clean sheet.  It's the second one I've had at home and especially after losing four goals last week, it was important for the defence to try to get a clean sheet just to give us a bit of confidence.  I was happy with my own performance and I thought the team played well, we had chances to win and we maybe just need a bit more work at the goal.  We hit the post when, at other times, it would have gone in - but I think it was an exciting match for us.  Consistency is the thing that we'll need most for the season - away from home we've struggled and lost nine goals, which is really shocking.

"It's a new defence and it's taken us time to gel together. But I think we're starting to gel and we know what other players can do and we're starting to improve as a team.  I don't know about pressure, but we're anxious to get our first win to try and move us up the league a bit because one win could move you four or five places up the league.  So it's important that we try to get a win early on in the next few games because in this league you can't waste time."
