Today's Motherwell Times reports that Ged Brannan is very close to signing a new deal with the club. However, Ged's recent booking against Hibs means he will miss the upcoming games against St Johnstone on the 23rd and Dundee on Boxing Day.
Team news for Saturday's match against Hearts: Stevie McMillan and Derek Townsley have both recovered from the virus which kept them out of the Rangers game, and Kevin Twaddle is also expected to be ok after suffering a neck injury at Ibrox. However, Benito Kemble misses out after suffering a hamstring injury against Rangers.
