Ricky's report of the Livingston game is now available.

After the Livingston game, Terry Butcher apologised to all the Motherwell fans who travelled through to Almondvale for the match:
"I'm disappointed for the supporters because we built them up with our performance against Rangers and then came out and played poorly in the next game.  I don't think we deserved to take anything out of the game, but it was still hard to take losing the late goal.  It was a shocking goal to lose and I've told the players what I think.  I'd have been delighted to leave here with a 0-0 draw but we can't complain about losing because Livingston wanted to win more than us.

"This performance was a pale shadow of the one against Rangers just three days ago.  The confidence and spirit was very high but it was a shocking goal to lose at the very end of the game.  We should have simply tried to clear the danger and instead it has cost us a valuable point in our relegation battle.  We didn't give our front men Dirk Lehmann and James McFadden much of the ball and, when we did, it came straight back again.

"We raised our game against Rangers, yet we have not been able to match a team in the same area of the table as ourselves, so I'm not a happy man."
