Our game at Tynecastle on Saturday December 27 will now kick-off at 12.30pm as it is being broadcast live on TV.

Stephen Pearson has been named in the Scotland Future Squad for the match against Turkey at Tannadice next Wednesday night.

While delighted at Pearo's inclusion, 'Well boss Terry Butcher was disappointed that Stevie Hammell was only on standby while others like Corrigan and Lasley had once again been overlooked:
"They are all having excellent seasons and looking at the names in the squad I thought that one or two of our lads were worth a mention.  Having said that Berti Vogts was at the game on Saturday and it possibly wasn’t the best advert for our lads.  I thought that Corrigan and Lasley would have been worth a mention and I am disappointed that Hammell is not included as he is playing some of the best football of his career.  All they can do is keep playing well for Motherwell and see what happens. It would be nice to see them on the squad given that we now have a predominately Scottish squad."

The Under-21s lost 1-0 to their Kilmarnock counterparts at Fir Park on Monday afternoon.

Team: Corr, Neville, Higgins, MacDonald, Donnelly, Quinn, (Ballantyne), Fagan, Wright, Dair, Trialist, Burns.
Subs not used: Reid, Barkey, Fitzpatrick, Scott.
