Martyn Corrigan came on as a second half substitute for Scotland in the Future International 3-0 defeat to Germany last night.  Apparently Stevie Hammell was due to start the game but was injured in the warm up.

The club have opened a temporary shop in Motherwell town centre (near the Post Office) which will be open seven days a week in the run up to Christmas 

And on a similar subject, the club are producing a limited edition DVD of the 1991 cup run costing £14.95, which is available to order from Saturday at the Chapman Building for a deposit of £5.

I can only assume it's a quiet week for news when the Daily Record are resorting to publishing drivel like this about Stevie Hammell.   Love the bit about him being out of contract at the end of the season.  Quality journalism all round.

The draw for the 3rd Round of the Scottish Cup will take place at 5pm on Saturday.  Another away day to a lower league team will do me nicely.

Wolves have appointed Glen Hoddle as their new manager, ending speculation that Terry Butcher was set to move to Molineux as assistant to Bobby Robson
