Injury Update

Mitchell van der Gaag, who has been out for 10 weeks
since fracturing his leg against Clydebank, has now
had the plaster removed from his leg.  He may be able
to start playing again in four weeks time.
Shaun McSkimming will be out for a further three weeks
with a knee injury he picked up playing against Rangers.

McLeish turns down Hearts offer

Alex McLeish has turned down a bid from Hearts for
midfielder Jamie Dolan.

Bolton bid for McKinnon

According to the Sunday Mail, Motherwell have turned
down a 600,000 pounds bid from Bolton for Rob McKinnon.
Rob, who is out of contract at the end of the season,
has been watched by a Bolton scout in the recent
games against Raith and Aberdeen.

Coyne called up to Ireland Squad

Tommy Coyne has been called up to the Republic of
Ireland Squad for their European Championship match
on October 11th at home to Latvia.

New Contracts

Both Dougie Arnott and Brian Martin have recently signed
two year extensions to their existing contracts, which
means that they will probably finish their careers at
Motherwell.
