Oh dear.  We were gubbed 3-0 at Ibrox this afternoon, and it sounds like it could have been a whole lot more embarrassing had it not been for poor Rangers finishing and several good saves from Stevie Woods.

Latapy put the home side ahead when he shot past Steve Woods after 13 mins, and it sounds as though Rangers dominated the early proceedings.  We then had a brief flurry when we hit the woodwork and had a couple of half chances, but from listening to the game on the radio we were always second best and Rangers doubled their lead after 41 mins, when Keith Lasley's short backpass was capitalised upon by Flo.  Any chance we had of getting back into the game vanished just a few minutes into the second half when Eric Deloumeaux was sent-off for a second bookable offence, and it sounds as if the rest of the match was one way traffic towards Steve Woods' goal.  As it turned out, the home side only managed one further goal, scored by Ricksen with only 5 mins to go.

While it difficult to comment too much on the game, it seems a bit strange that we didn't make any substitutions until 67 mins, when Ferrere replaced McFadden.  Oh well, I don't suppose many 'Well fans expected us to take anything from this match anyway.  At least I have the satisfaction of not having given £18 of my hard-earned cash to Rangers only to watch us being humped!

Teletext reports that we are trying to secure the services of French keeper Fabian Audard on a 3 month loan deal. Audard is at present 3rd choise with French 1st division side Bastia.
