Ricky's report of the Kilmarnock league game is now available.

It's been confirmed that the club have turned down a £500,000 bid from Everton for James McFadden.  The Premiership side wanted to pay £100,000 to take Faddy on loan until the end of the season and then an additional £400,000 if he secured a permanent move.  Not surprisingly, the offer was dismissed by club administrator Bryan Jackson, who said:
"The deal they wanted was to pay something to take him until the end of the season with an option for a top-up.  But their valuation was substantially short of ours. I think people still think they can pick him up on the cheap, but we are not looking to sell.  It would have to be a really substantial offer, and we are not under pressure to sell because we are just about breaking even at the moment.

"I wouldn't say the offers from Everton and Preston were insulting, but we are talking about the hottest property in Scottish football.  We could not replace him, certainly not for that money, so we would rather have him."

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest defender Tony Vaughan will NOT be signing for the club after failing to agree personal terms.  Bryan Jackson said:
"He was looking for too much, and we cannot upset the wage structure.  He hadn't played for a while either, but the main reason was financial."

Former Motherwell midfielder Ged Brannan has left Wigan to sign on loan for Dunfermline until the end of the season.  Meanwhile, ahead of Saturday's match at Tannadice, Dundee Utd have sacked manager Paul Hegarty and replaced him with Ian McCall.
