3.30pm Yesterday's Sun linked us with a move for Dundee United defender Gary Bollan. Apparently the following players are all out of contract at the end of the season: Derek Adams, Scott Leitch, Keith Lasley, David Partridge, Stevie Hammell, Stevie Craig, Gordon Marshall and Jason Dair. Here's the latest on the Stephen Pearson situation from Celtic manager Martin O'Neill: "I spoke to Terry and the situation would be that we are nearly there. I think there was some talk about some players going in the other direction. But the fact is that some of the players Terry was talking about I would be reluctant to let go. We are still very hopeful that something will happen shortly." Former Motherwell player Darren Jack has signed for Barnsley on a non-contract basis. Happy New Year to all Motherwell Fans!
