Common sense has prevailed.  The club have announced that the cup tie against QoS will NOT be all-ticket.  Normal gate prices will apply for home fans and season tickets are valid.  Away fans will be charged £15 for adults and £5 for concessions.

The Under-21s have played twice in the last few days, going down 2-0 at Dens Park on Monday and then also losing 2-0 to Partick Thistle this afternoon after Neville and Kinniburgh were both sent off.

Team v Partick: Corr, Neville, Bollan (Russell), MacDonald, Kinniburgh, Mathie, Wright, Barkey, McDonald (Fitzpatrick), Fagan, Scott.

Reports suggest that 'Well legend Wullie Pettigrew is set to return to Fir Park to coach the Under-14 side.

Speaking in today's local press, Terry Butcher backed Alex Burns to get off the mark soon - possibly even against Rangers on Saturday:
"Alex was very unfortunate not to get off the mark against St Johnstone, but I'm confident he will start scoring goals very soon. Hopefully even against Rangers on Saturday.  He works very hard on the pitch and his hold-up play in recent games has been excellent.  Alex is a player you need to look at in more depth than just the goals he scores.  Although he hasn't managed to get a goal for us yet, he still helps to set them up for others and his contribution certainly isn't lost on his teammates."

TB has no new injury worries for the trip to Ibrox, with only David Partridge (groin) and Steven Craig (thigh) missing from the squad.  The 'Well boss added:
"David is going to see a specialist this week about his injury, while Steven's had a recurrence of his thigh problem which should keep him out for another couple of weeks."
