Tonight's friendly at Stenhousemuir ended in a 0-0 draw.  Doesn't sound like I missed very much...

Perhaps Stephen Pearson won't be leaving Fir Park as quickly as we first thought.  His proposed move to Leicester City is at stalemate, and is agent is quoted as saying:
"At this moment in time I don't think the move is going to happen.  The clubs are some way apart in their valuations and though Leicester are prepared to up their offer I know they won't meet Motherwell's current asking price.

"The way things stand it looks like he could be set to miss out on a great opportunity.  Stephen has already handed in a transfer request and is desperate to move."

Earlier in the day, Pearo was quoted as saying:
"It's a great chance for me to go down to Leicester because every player's dream is to play in the Premiership. I'm no different and I don't want to miss out.

"I'll have a lot to prove when I go down there, but I'm very determined to do that and I hope the clubs can come to an agreement."

Leicester are believed to have upped their offer to £275,000 but Motherwell are holding out for £400,000.
