7.45pm David Partridge has been sold to Bristol City for a reported figure of £150,000, with Dundee United apparently getting a £50,000 sell-on fee. Bit of a disastrous friendly against Queen of the South yesterday. Not only were we humped 4-0 by the First Division part-timers, but David Clarkon was sent off for elbowing an opponent and will now be suspended for the Celtic game next Saturday. Jim Hamilton limped off injured, and with Richie Foran also banned for the Celtic game and Scott McDonald struggling to be fit, we're going to be very short of striking options on the opening day of the season.
