The club have begun advertising for a new Youth Development Manager, after David McParland announced he would be retiring from the role.  Speaking in the morning's press, Pat Nevin said:
"The manager's job in any football team is obviously the most important. But the youth team post is up there with it because of the importance of bringing in young players.  I think all clubs are going towards building their own youth academies and it is no longer a glorified boys club manager's job. Just look at Rangers. They spent a lot of time and money to recruit Tommy McLean. In the past we have used word of mouth but now we have taken out adverts to find a youth team manager.  David did a good job and the system has worked well over the last few years. He has retired from the job with us but he's still looking for another post in football."
