A few snippets of info that I discovered today...
  • The players report back for pre-season training on Monday, June 25.
  • Following the success of the last two open days, another one is planned for Sunday, July 1.  The open day will see the new strip going on sale for the first time (see below).  More info on the open day will appear here shortly.
  • The new strip sounds really impressive.  I haven't seen it yet, but apparently it is almost entirely claret with an amber V-neck and two narrow amber band around the chest.  Sounds a bit like the current Portugal home top.
  • The Well Shop in the Davie Cooper stand will be transformed into a "superstore" (?) in the next few weeks.  The shop will be increased in size (I believe it will incorporate the room to the left of the existing shop with the dividing wall being knocked down), and customers will be able to browse through the products on sale rather than peering over the counter at a couple of shelves as happens at present!

Today's Sun reports that Aberdeen midfielder David Rowson will sign for Motherwell early next week, after agreeing a three-year deal with Pat Nevin yesterday.  Apparently Rowson can play midfield, full-back and centre-back, and has a reputation of being a very good tackler.  The Sun also reports that BD will turn his attentions to a striker when he returns from holiday.
