The BBC website now features a (small) photo of the new home and away kits. And here it is!
Speaking at the launch of the new kits, James McFadden pleaded
with fans to come out and help the club, while also pledging his immediate
future to Motherwell: Faddy hit the headlines for the wrong reasons when he missed his
flight home from Scotland's end-of-season tour to the Far East, and when asked
what he gained from the trip he replied: The club are also launching a season ticket drive, and claim
that their prices are the lowest in the SPL. We revealed last week that
adult East Stand tickets would rise by £20 to £180, with DC Stand prices
unchanged from last year. McFadden added: Meanwhile, club administrator Bryan Jackson is still in discussions with two parties who are interested in buying the club, one of whom is believed to be from within Motherwell, although no firm bids have been received. He hopes to appoint a preferred bidder within the next month.
A few more pics of the new strip are available here. No doubt they will appear on the Official Site in due course. Although our new strips are currently without a sponsor, an interesting rumour reached us earlier today which suggests a deal might be in the pipeline...
There's not much happening round Fir Park way at the moment, but
I thought this story might be of interest. Hearts manager Craig Levein had
admitted he is interested in taking former Motherwell winger Kevin Twaddle to
Tynecastle. Twaddle, a Hearts supporter, was linked with a move to
Tynecastle several times during his time at Fir Park, and Levein is quoted as
saying:
Don't forget about the 'Well Worth Saving public meeting to be held in Majestic (the Old Town Hall) at 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 18th. The main purpose of the meeting is to confirm the constitution for the formation of a Supporters Trust but don't worry, the bar WILL be open.
