Teletext reports that we are looking to sign new players,
despite making 19 players redundant in April when we went into
administration. Alisdair Barron is quoted as saying: "I think we have to look at the market place. The realism that has struck European football let alone Scottish football means there is going to be a whole number of players available under the Bosman Ruling." However, the decision on which players to sign will be left to Terry Butcher, who is currently on pundit duty at the World Cup. Alisdair Barron also responded to the recent reports that Bolton
Wanderers had made a £200,000 offer for James McFadden: "No deadlines have been set yet for buyers, but it is likely a closing date will be set in a few weeks time."
