11.45pm JUST IN FROM RICKY - WE ARE STAYING UP!!!!! Apparently it all came down to the issue of Falkirk not having priority over Airdrie Utd for the staging of their fixtures at New Broomfield next season. Quite why the matter was allowed to be dragged on for so long is anyone's guess.
Latest news from the SFA Appeal meeting at Hampden is... ...they are still deliberating. Quite how much longer they can allow this farce to continue is beyond me. Spare a thought for poor Ricky, who at this moment is standing on the steps outside the main entrance to Hampden waiting on an announcement!
One other snippet of news. We reported the other day that Stevie Woods had signed a three-year deal with Brechin City. However, newspaper reports suggest that Woods' agreement with Brechin was only verbal, and he has since changed his mind and agreed to sign for St Mirren instead.
