12.15pm Another friendly has been added to our pre-season schedule - away to Stenhousemuir on Tuesday, July 22nd. Full details of all our friendlies are as follows:
James McFadden could miss Saturday's international match against Germany after he sat out training today due to tiredness and a foot injury.
Dirk Lehmann will hold signing talks with Swansea later in the week.
Regarding the earlier rumours that the club could be set to move to Ravenscraig, Ricky has unearthed the following: I was talking to a lecturer here who is married to a guy involved in the clean-up operation at Ravenscraig. Basically what she said was that the land is too toxic to ever take any major development work on it though it's thought some loopholes will allow things to go on up there. I believe from that it completely vetoes any idea of a stadium ever being built to take football, after all, it would need to be on grass and with the garbage underneath seeping through it would never be allowed. I reckon that means no stadium and we stay where we are - and quite right too.
