I've been asked to let you all know about the following petition, which has been setup in an attempt to get Falkirk to stop moaning!

It's been confirmed that James McFadden has not recovered from his foot injury, and as a result will miss the Germany match at Hampden tomorrow. Meanwhile, Terry Butcher says he is confident that Faddy will start the new season a Motherwell player:
"James is resting at the moment because he has a stress fracture of two bones in his foot. This has ruled him out of Scotland contention and he needs to rest up for the new season. Then he is looking forward to coming back for pre-season with us. I would fully expect him to start next season with us because he's only had one full season, and out of that he missed nine games, six through suspension and three through injury. He has had a long and difficult season, as have Motherwell. James has done very well in some games and average to poor in others, just like any other young player. James will be far, far better for the experience of that full season and I fully expect a lot more interest when he starts for us and does well in the SPL next season. I fully expect James to be here, and I would with other players here who are attracting big interest."

Partick Thistle really don't like us, do they? According to one of this morning's tabloids, the Firhill club have taken steps to have us relegated on the basis that clubs in administration should be banned from strengthening their squads. Funny how they didn't have any objection to us signing players last summer, but have all of a sudden spat the dummy now that we've signed two of their so-called "best" players. Anyway, Thistle secretary Alan Dick is quoted as saying:
"We can't let this rest while Mother-well are flouting the idea of paying their football debts. We will be asking the football authorities for their support for our idea that relegation must follow administration."
