Motherwell chief scout Davie McParland was at Gayfield on Saturday to watch 18-year-old Arbroath player Andy Webster. Bradford, Arsenal, Celtic and Preston are also believed to be interested in him, and Hearts have already had a bid turned down. Webster is out-of-contract at the end of the season.
