'Well defender Eddie Forrest has been placed on the transfer list after failing to impress manager Eric Black.  The 23-year-old, who joined from Airdrie last summer and still has two years left on his contract, has been told he can leave on a free transfer.  Speaking yesterday, he said:
"I believe I can do a job in the SPL, but I'll play anywhere right now.  It's been hard to adjust because I played all the time at Airdrie so I'm not used to being left out in the cold.  I proved at the start of the season I can play at this level and I'd love to find another SPL club.  Eric Black told me I wasn't in his plans, but that might change in the future.  That may suit some players but I couldn't sit on the sidelines and pick up a wage for playing in Under-21 games.  There is no problem with Eric or anyone else at Motherwell, I just need to play."

Time for a new Fans' Poll....
