9pm Teletext reports that Scott Leitch will be rested for the remainder of the season, due to his knee injury. Eric Black feels that he came back too soon last year and this simply caused problems.
The Official Site reports that we have signed French defender Franck Bernhard until the end of the season, with an option to keep him for another year. The tall centre-half from Strasbourg can also play at right-back, and made his second appearance for the Under-21s on Monday night. Meanwhile, Paul Harvey is set to sign for Stenhousmuir until the end of the season. The veteran midfielder hasn't featured under Eric Black and his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Stevie Nicholas is the latest player to be told he doesn't have a future at Fir Park. The 21-year-old, whose contract is up in the summer, is now on the transfer list and Ross County are already believed to be interested. Nicholas played 65 games for the club after signing in a £125,000 deal three years ago, but now joins Paul Harvey, Martin Wood, Eddie Forrest, Andy Dow and Ange Oueifio on the transfer list, with Kevin Twaddle having already left for a loan spell with Ayr. Speaking today, Nicholas said:
