Some good news at last!  Following discussions with the administrator, Dirk Lehmann has agreed to sign on at Fir Park for another year.  The German striker is quoted as saying:
"I am pleased the matter has been resolved. It has been a very difficult time for the club and the players, but I like it here and am happy to stay on here."

Terry Butcher, who remains hopeful that Eric Deloumeaux will also agree to stay, added:
"He is a very important player for us and is a tremendous influence on the younger ones. This gives us another lift ahead of our trip to play Schweinfurt in Germany next week."

Terry is also confident of a big crowd for the Dundee game tomorrow:
"Over the past few years, we've had a lot of clubs in financial difficulties but there was always a feeling that because it is football, they wouldn't go out of business.  But what happened at Airdrie has proved we are not immune.  Buyers need to know that there is a support out there for us and Motherwell fans can send out a powerful signal by turning up in big numbers."

Ricky has sent in the following poster, which is apparently being used to advertise next week's game in Schweinfurt...

Reports this morning suggest that Le Havre are prepared to lodge a complaint with UEFA after claiming they are still owed £80,000 of the £100,000 transfer fee agreed for Eric Deloumeaux in November.  This means that the French club has become another creditor.
