10pm According to a message posted on our forum, Schweinfurt beat us 3-2 in this evening's friendly. I don't have any further details at present.
Ricky's report of the Dundee game is now available.
Stevie Woods today called on Terry Butcher to be made Motherwell
manager on a full-time basis. He said: "Terry's contribution has been to steady the ship. The feeling after the 19 boys were freed was very negative. But he has taken a realistic approach and has told us all we can do is put on a good show. He has made training very upbeat and positive. He has not criticised anybody once in any training session. He knows the future of the players is undecided and he wants to make the club as happy as it can possibly be. Alongside Chris McCart he has done it exceptionally well. We have taken lots and lots of positives into the close season. I don't see any reason why he should be given the job for good. He's my type of manager; he's an honest man and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing under him. And I'm not just saying that because he's brought me back into the team."
