Today's newspapers are reporting that Eric Deloumeaux has been placed on the transfer list after failing to agree a revised contract with the club.  Eric refused to accept a pay cut and Motherwell will now listen to offers for him, with Eric Black reported to be interested in taking him to Coventry City.  Administrator Bryan Jackson said:
"Eric was asked, along with other players at Motherwell, to accept new terms in view of the club's financial difficulties.  Sadly, we could not agree terms and, as a result, he will be placed on the transfer list.  Eric was the only player we still had to agree terms with. The remainder of the squad have been retained on revised or existing contracts."

Meanwhile, Kevin Twaddle is reported to be a target for Sheffield Utd.
