7pm Stuart Elliott has dismissed rumours linking him with a move to
Kilmarnock. He said:
Here's an interesting one. The ever reliable onefootball.com are reporting that Motherwell will sign Nigerian defender Justice Christopher after the World Cup. The 20-year-old , who can also play in midfield, captained Nigeria at youth level and was also attracting the interest of Manchester City! He was on the fringes of the Nigerian squad during World Cup qualifying, but apparently booked his place for Japan and South Korea after an impressive display against Scotland at Pittodrie last month. Is there any truth in this? Unlikely, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
The Official Site has details of a number of pre-season friendlies that Motherwell will play in July:
Meanwhile, another report claims we are to play Arbroath away on Tuesday, July 30th. at 7.30pm.
