6.45pm News reports suggest that James McFadden has been left behind in Hong Kong as a result of a "ticketing problem"...
One of this morning's papers is reporting that we could be under
new ownership in two weeks. Potential bidders have been trawling their way
through the club's accounts as they prepare their bids. A club source is
quoted as saying: Meanwhile, the same paper reports that new Preston manager Craig Brown wants Billy Davies to join his backroom team.
Thanks to my old friend Stephen Todd for sending in the following report: You may be interested to know that I had to call 999 late last night (around 10 pm) as plumes of black smoke and a horrible orange glow were coming from the direction of our beloved Fir Park. I was told that the fire service were already on route though and it appears the fire was put out quickly. It was at the gap at the end of the Main stand between that and the South Stand (you know the bit that the club wasn't allowed to extend the Main Stand into due to the homeowners lack of permission). To be honest I am not sure from here if it was definitely the part of the ground or a back garden of one of the houses, but it looked pretty far back. Anyway it appears that no serious harm came but just in case you get offered some rather charred Fir Park souvenirs then you will know why!!
'Well Worth Saving are organising a Quiz Night in the Davie Cooper Suite on Thursday, June 6. More details will be available soon.
Don't forget about this upcoming event at Fir Park (apologies for the poor quality of the image)...
