Here's a date for your diary - Tuesday, June 18th.  This is when the public meeting to launch the Supporters Trust will be held.  It will take place in the Majestic (or "Magic Stick") nightclub in Motherwell at 7.30pm, and yes the bar WILL be open.

9.15am

Reports this morning suggest that there will be no further repercussions for James McFadden after the "incident" with the Scotland squad in Hong Kong.  Faddy phoned Scotland manager Berti Vogts over the weekend to apologise, and was reassured that he will be a part of future Scotland squads.

Meanwhile, Faddy is being linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers, who apparently have been tipped off that they could land him for as little as £300,000.  Previously Faddy has been linked with Celtic and Leeds.

The BBC report that the 19 players paid off by Motherwell when we went into administration are to submit letters of complaint to the SPL, and Greg Strong is confident of receiving compensation:
"We'll be putting our case to the SPL.  If they agree with us, and hopefully they will, then our case will be referred to the Scottish Football Association.  Once the SFA are involved, sanctions will be taken against the club until we get the money we are owed.  With about a 1,000 players expected to be out of work over the summer in Britain, finding a club is going to be really difficult".

Strong is expected to sign for Hull City later today, while Karl Ready has been linked with a move to America and Kevin Twaddle is reported to have interested Hearts and Livingston.
