Ricky's report of the Hearts game is now available.

Terry Butcher's post-match comments were as follows:
"Hearts had a good spell in the first half and probably could and should have gone ahead in the game.  But it was a wonderful save by Gordon and I thought it was Gordon Banks, too, to be honest.  Instead of tipping the ball up in the air, he tipped it wide but I thought it was a wonderful save.  But he is called Gordon George Banks Marshall anyway, isn't he?"

With Hibs beating Celtic yesterday, the SPL title race is wide open again and Butcher added:
"The last two games against Rangers and Celtic take on a bit more significance now, so the demand for tickets will be high.  It's building up nicely and we are happy to be there.  We will have to put out our best team or there may be a few fingers pointing at us if we don't.  What we don't want to happen in the last two games is to get two drubbings because the Old Firm will be going for it."

Midfielder Brian Kerr is also looking forward to having a say in who will be the champions this season:
"Once we had got into the top six, we said we'd go and try and spoil other teams' seasons.  So we are out to spoil parties, not just to make up the numbers and give away points.  And, if we have a say in who wins the league, then great."

There's a rather worrying article in today's Sunday Mail, in which John Boyle say he would welcome Celtic being presented with the the SPL trophy at Fir Park on the final day of the season.  He is quoted as saying:
"If Celtic win the league on the final day of the season at Fir Park we'll make arrangements so Motherwell fans can leave and they will be entitled to their hour in the sunshine.

"It's the right thing to do and it'd be the same whether it was Rangers, Hearts or whoever had the chance to win the league at our ground.

"It's been a long, hard season and if after 38 games Celtic are the champions, they deserve the right to pick up the trophy on the day they win the league, regardless of where that may be. It would be childish for us to deny them that opportunity so we'll make appropriate security arrangements. There might be a delay to allow our fans to exit but they'll be allowed their celebrations."

No pitch invasion this year then!

The bookings handed out to David Partridge and Stephen Craigan yesterday mean they'll both miss the match at Ibrox a week on Saturday.
