Oh dear.  We were gubbed 2-0 at Rugby Park this afternoon, and if truth be told it could have been a whole lot more embarrassing.  This was a totally inept performance from Motherwell and there were no players on the pitch today who I'd give pass marks to.  The goalkeeper's distribution was poor at times, the defence (especially both full-backs) looked less than confident and were regularly caught-out, the midfield was second best and the least said about our so-called strikers the better.  New signing Eric Deloumeaux made his first starting appearance for the club, yet was played in midfield (I though he was supposed to be a defender?) and the game completely passed him by.  Where on earth was Andy Dow?

There were absolutely no positives to take from this match, and let's not forget that we were playing against a struggling side who had just been grubbed by St Johnstone.  The lack of fight and passion from the players today was alarming, and if this is the best Eric Black can come up with then we're definitely going to struggle.

I might have another rant later on tonight so stay tuned, but that's all for now folks!
