A bit more info on today's press conference from the Official Site...

Eric Black was asked about the injury situation:
"With regard to Saturday, still waiting for David Kelly but we are going to have to wait and see how he reacts after he missed last Saturday. Eddie Forrest got a head knock at the U/21 game this week and is unlikely to be involved this week. It is only a concussion but he may not be available for a couple of matches."

When asked about the situation with regard to French trialist Iwan Soloy, Eric replied:
"Yan is in France just now but we shall know over the next few days. He is going to come back for another trial period and we shall take it from there."

Eric confirmed that there would be no new faces in the line-up at Livingston on Saturday.  His plans to watch Livvy in action last night were scuppered when the Almondvale floodlights failed just 15 mins prior to the CIS Quarter-final against Celtic.

Roberto Martinez (remember him?) was also at the press conference, and was asked if he was happy to have returned to the squad recently:
"Yes, but you must have competition at a club. We have a good mixture of youth and experience, so the future looks very positive.  I knew there was quality here before I came because McCulloch, Brannan and McMillan told me all about the club before I came from Wigan. You really need to train and play with players to understand their real potential."

Speaking at today's press conference, Eric Black confirmed that the club would not be pursing their interest in German striker Ralph Schmitt.  French midfielder Iwan Soloy has also returned home, although Eric said that the 31-year-old would be returning to Fir Park next week so they could have another look at him.
