Newspaper reports suggest that Eric Black is set to sign Plymouth midfielder Sean Evans.  The 24-year-old has been offered a seven-day trial at Fir Park with a view to a permanent move if he impresses.  Tommy Burns paid Luton £500,000 to take Evers to Reading when he was in charge there three years ago.

The Under-21s beat their Celtic counterparts 2-1 at New Broomfield yesterday, with both goals coming from Martin Wood.

Meanwhile the Under-18s beat Ross County 2-1 on Friday.  The Under-18s have been drawn away to Falkirk in the fourth round of the SFA Youth Cup, with the tie to be played before November 25.
