New signing Eric Delomeaux has spoken of his move to Motherwell:
"I was playing in the French Second Division and I wanted to play in a top league, so this is a good move up for me.  I watched the team play last Saturday and I'm looking forward to playing here.  The manager speaks French and that was a factor in me coming here because he will help me to adapt to Scotland.  I know some things about Scottish football as there have been a lot of French players over here but, to me, football is international.  I'm ready to play against Aberdeen, if I'm chosen, and I hope the papers arrive because I feel confident.  I know the Aberdeen player Eugene Dadi because we both played together at Sochaux when we were young. I could face him on Saturday and he's a very good striker with great technique."

Eric Black said:
"Eric is an exceptionally good defender and we are delighted to have him with us.  In my previous life I had watched him a couple of times on video and then got a chance to see him in the flesh. I saw him play a game in England and was really impressed.  He is quick, composed on the ball and a good athlete, so he is an excellent addition to our squad.  Somebody in France mentioned his name, I saw him and the interest grew from there.  We still have to wait for the normal clearance coming in and we'll see over the next 48 hours whether he will be involved in the Aberdeen game."

Further information on Eric is Delomeaux available here.

Meanwhile, Sean Evers won't learn if he is to be offered a contract until next week.
