Ricky's report of the Kilmarnock game is now available.

Despite our disastrous run of defeats, Terry Butcher still believes his side can still turn things around:
"I was pleased with the attitude, commitment and spirit of the players.  I was gutted when we lost the goal in the last few seconds. There was no way back for us then.  But we have to believe we can turn this around because if we stop believing then we are finished.  We will play worse and win matches. And if football has any logic then next week we'll get a last minute winner against Dundee United.  But football has no logic sometimes and we just have to keep on going".

Butcher explained his decision to drop Steve Woods in favour of Francois Dubourdeau:
"I felt we needed a change to freshenthings up.  Woods' attitude was first-class before the game and he was very supportive of Francois. He understands my reasons and he will press hard to get back into the team".

Dubourdeau went on to win the man-of-the-match award, and after the game the French goalkeeper said:
"To be honest, I would prefer the victory to the champagne.  It's not about me, it's about the team and we're unhappy that we played well and lost.  But all the players need to keep positive. We need to keep the heads up and keep going because it is a long season ahead.  Stevie (Woods) helped me before the game because he is a good guy. I don't know what will happen in the future, but we have a good relationship and I have learned a lot from him.  He has played a long time and is very experienced, so I will keep learning from him."

Time for a new opinion poll!

Who do you blame for the club's current predicament?
