Today's Sun reports that Motherwell want Dutch legend Win van Hanegem to be our new manager. Apparently the former Feyenoord star is now top of the shortlist, which has been whittled down to just five names and is also believed to contain Eric Black, Ian McCall, Craig Brown and John Philliben/Miodrag Krivokapic. Van Hanegem was one of the stars of Dutch football in the 1970s and enjoyed successful spells in charge of AZ Alkmaar and Sports Rotterdam. He currently works for a Dutch TV station and earns £150,000 a year, but apparently would be prepared to take a pay-cut to get back into football management.
