Teletext is reporting that Blair Sturrock could be Eric Black's first signing at Fir Park. The 20-year-old striker has just been released by Dundee United and has joined father Paul on trial at English Third Division side Plymouth Argyle. Black is understood to be a long-time admirer of the forward and could make a move for him.
Stevie Nicholas says he is out to impress new manager Eric Black
as his contract runs out at the end of the season: "We always have very difficult games against Dundee and when they are on form they are a very difficult team to play against. You never know what to expect from them. Sometimes they are very good and on other occasions they struggle a little, but I'm sure they will be determined to win against us. We could be doing with going up there and getting three points to give Eric Black and Terry Butcher a winning start to their careers here." Do you agree with the appointment? Vote in our NEW POLL!!!
