Today's Sun reports that Rangers have joined the queue of clubs interested in signing James McFadden when the transfer window re-opens in January. Andy Watson watched the 19-year-old in the recent home match with Aberdeen, and apparently Rangers rate Faddy at £1.5m.
Both Stevie Hammell and James McFadden started last night's
Scotland Under-21 game against Ghana, which Scotland won 2-0. Hammell
played the entire 90 mins, while Faddy was subbed just after half-time. He
will join up with senior squad today for the match with Canada, and Scotland
boss Berti Vogts gave the following explanation for Faddy's apparent demotion:
