Some Under-18 news...

Up until last Friday they we had lost their our last 2 games,1-0 against Dundee and 2-1 against Aberdeen - both games they should have one but failed due to lack of a cutting edge.

On Friday they played Livingston away and won 2-0. They took an early lead with a header by Kevin Barkey from a great cross from the right by John Crawley.  David Clarkson was taken off soon after with an ankle injury .  Andy Scott then scored a beauty with a 25 yard free kick, curling the ball round the wall to give the keeper no chance.  They never looked under pressure at any time during the game and Ewings only had one save to make in the entire 90 minutes.

The team was:  Ewings, McAndie, Crawley, Neville, Quinn, Higgins, Barkey, Grant (Keough 87), Black, Clarkson (Fitzgerald 20), Scott (Reilly 87)

Next game is Rangers away on Friday at Murray Park with a 1 o'clock kick-off

The latest clubs to be linked with James McFadden are Parma and Chievo. Apparently Parma manager Arrigo Sacchi has sent his European scouts to monitor McFadden's progress over the past three months.

Time for a new opinion poll!

Should Steve Woods be replaced when the transfer window reopens?
