Sorry for the lack of updates recently.  Here are a few snippets of news from the last couple of days:

• James McFadden has been called up to the Scotland squad for the European Championships qualifier against Iceland on October 12.  Stevie Hammell and Stephen Pearson are in the Under-21 squad.

• Former Motherwell striker Andy Walker has joined the club's coaching staff on a part-time basis.  He will join Terry Butcher on the training field to pass on advice to our strikers.

• The Motherwell Times reports that Khaled Kemas will feature in an Under-21 game within a couple of weeks.
