The BBC are linking Stephen Pearson with a £200,000 move to Celtic. There has been contact between the two clubs and Pearo's agent, and with the player out of contract at the end of the season, Motherwell might be tempted to cash in on him during the January transfer window. Oh dear.
David Clarkson, Paul Quinn and Andy Reid were once again in action for Scotland Under-19s in their match against Turkey last night. The game at Dumbarton ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Motherwell Times reports that Stevie Hammell and Stephen Pearson have recovered from the knocks which kept them out of the Scotland Future squad last midweek, and provided our Under-19 players return unscathed from international duty then we should have no injury worries for Saturday's trip to Pittodrie other than long-term casualty Alex Burns.
