The Official MFC Site reports that three 'Well players have been called up for International duty next week. Stevie Hammell and Mark Brown are both in the Scotland Under-21 squad for the match against Latvia at Broadwood on October 5, while Stuart Elliott has been selected for the Northern Ireland squad for their match against Malta the following day.

Apparently this morning's Herald was touting the suggestion that we might go for Sandy Clark as our new manager, with BD heading to Perth! Clark has yet to apply for the post, but "sources close to the club" insisted that he would be an ideal candidate. Not really sure about this one!
