There's an interesting article in this morning's Sunday Herald which contains the following quotes from Pat Nevin:
"The new man may be someone who has not been thought of or considered by anybody could still be manager of this football club.  I'm thinking of one in particular who has done well in the Nationwide League.  There is certainly one stand out name I'll definitely talk to.  The downside is that they don't know much about Scottish football but that can be got round by having a Scottish No 2."

Pat also reveals that the club has been contacted by many fans with names of candidates that they DON'T want to see at Fir Park, and that he is monitoring fan's comments on filling the vacancy.  Could it be that he's keeping on eye on our Fans' Poll?

Speaking after yesterday's game, John Philliben said:
"I've heard that Alan Main has a fracture and I know that Twads is very upset by what has happened.  It was a 50-50 challenge and both players were very brave to go in for it and we just wish Alan a speedy recovery."

"I'm delighted because I thought for a while that the game was going to go away from us.  St Johnstone started well but we dragged ourselves back into it at half-time and, by the time we equalised for the second time, I would have been happy to take a point so it was great to go on and get the three points."
