The under 18s beat their Kilmarnock counterparts 2-1 today away from home. Andy Scott scored a brace to put them comfortably ahead but Killie managed a late goal to make the young Steelmen sweat it out.  However, they held on.

The team was: Ewings, Bell, Crawley, Neville, Quinn, Higgins, Grant, Barkey, McAndie, Scott, Clarkson (Reilly).
Subs not used: Fitzgerald, McColl.

The game at Tynecastle, scheduled for Saturday, September 14 has now been moved to Sunday, September 15 with a 3pm kick-off and will be broadcast live on BBC 1.  Hearts have decided to make the game all-ticket (£16 adults, £10 concession), and 'Well fans will be accommodated in the Main Stand.

This is good news for me as had the game been on the Saturday, I would have been forced to miss it as I'm going to a wedding that day!

Update: The Aberdeen game, scheduled for Saturday, October 5 has now been moved to Sunday, October 6 with a 3pm kick-off, again to accommodate BBC coverage.  It seems the TV cameras just can't get enough of us these days!

Time for a new opinion poll!

Can Motherwell avoid the drop this season?
