Ricky's report of the Dundee Utd game is now available.  Enjoy!

Terry Butcher's post match comments were as follows:
"People could be writing that it must have been a great half time team talk.  It wasn’t a great half time team talk at all. I don’t do great half time team talks, its full credit to the players in the second half because it was one of the quietest discussions we had at half time as we thought we were on top of the game and they have had one chance gifted to them and they have scored from it.

"We felt that this was a big injustice and when you have that feeling you go out and try a lot harder to right the injustice and they did that in the second half. Even at two two we felt there were more goals in the game and until we scored the fourth we didn’t feel particularly safe as United pushed a lot of people forward and had a right good go at us.

"It was one of those games where we do reasonably good second halfs here, in the end it was score four goals after half time which was tremendous and the icing on the cake was Alex Burns getting a goal as well.

"If you watch them (the players) week in week out you see the effort that they give, there is a good shape to the team. Foran is not a left hand side midfield player but he is certainly putting everything into it, he is raw but typifies the spirit of the side.

"There is a great spirit here, now more so than ever there is a belief in the team and each other than there has been for quite some time. I played in an Ipswich Town team that had great belief in itself and had great quality, and if we went a goal down we believed we could get it back and I think this team is the same.

"We came back last week at Dunfermline, which is a bad ground for us and we’ve come back today again and won the match and are now third in the League, I think I’ll retire now!"

On the performance of Scott McDonald, TB added:
"We got on to him a little bit as him and Clarkson weren’t giving us everything in terms of holding the ball up and linking things as they did against Hearts in the second half in particular. Given the opportunity that presented themselves, he took them well, it was nice to see Clarkson score and it was a great ball from him for Burns goal, I thought it was Larsson in the Euros….

"These press conferences are a delight to come to these days, I just wish we could play at Fir Park every week, but it’s a month until we play here again against Rangers. We said it’s a big week and challenged the players to get three wins and put us in a good positions in the Cup and the League."

TB also revealed that Scott Leitch did NOT suffer a recurrence of his shoulder injury, however the 'Well captain could still be out for some time:
"He has pulled a muscle in his shoulder, its not his shoulder injury it’s a completely different injury, but he wanted to come out for the second half but you could see he was a one arm bandit, and he could be out for some time."
