Ricky's report of the Hibernian game is now available.

Terry Butcher's post-match comments were as follows:
"I'm disappointed all round, as I am after every defeat but I think we were feeling the effects of the game on Tuesday. We keep taking the same players to the well and asking them to drink - maybe we should take them to the bar for a drink. I wanted to change it around today and bring in some fresh legs but I've got a small squad and on top of that Paul Quinn was injured against St Mirren, although we did have Phil O'Donnell back. Full credit to Hibs though, and if it hadn't been for Graeme Smith they would have scored a couple more. We gave away some soft goals but we also didn't ask their defence or keeper enough questions. We know we can play a lot better than that but we didn't. We didn't pass the ball well enough and we didn't get the right ball in from wide areas and didn't apply enough pressure at the other end. It's been a tough week but after Aberdeen away we've got a week off with the international break and maybe we need that."

One of yesterday's tabloids reported that former Scotland player Scott Gemmill could be offered a short-term deal at Fir Park. The 34-year-old ex-Everton man has been without a club since being freed by Leicester City in the summer.
