A couple of stories from the last few days…
The PFA are apparently going to approach the SFA and SPL in an attempt to block our bid to sign Darren Jack. Our administrator, Bryan Jackson, replied by saying everything is in order – the players who were made redundant were high earning first team members while Jack will be a member of the youth team on a modest salary. Eric Deloumeaux may also leave next week, presumably for a fee.
Our old friend Stephen Halliday (that fine Kampman signing) has been ordered to pay £11,000 after trashing the accommodation rented for him by the club during his spell at Fir Park. Apparently the flat in Uddingston was “unlettable” when he left to sign for Carlisle Utd in May 2000. Alisdair Barron was awarded the amount on behalf of Motherwell FC in Newcastle County Court on Thursday.
